Digital Marketing Data Analyst (Tableau/ Power BI/ Alteryx)

Full Job Description

• Combine data from multiple sources to create actionable datasets for business decision making using Alteryx
  
• Create and maintain visually appealing and interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau to provide a clear understanding of key performance metrics
  
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and teams to understand their data requirements and track and report on key performance metrics, including customer behaviour, marketing campaigns and customer journeys to identify areas of optimisation and make recommendations for improvement
  
• Conduct in-depth analysis and evaluation of data using analytical and logical reasoning to examine each component of data provided
  
• Prepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns and predictions using relevant data
  
• Participate in cross-functional projects to support business objectives and provide data-driven insights
  
• Provide technical assistance to troubleshoot and resolve data-integration errors
  

• Willingness to work a US or UK shift
  
• Bachelor’s or master’s in Information Technology or a quantitative field (Computer Science, Data Analytics, Math, Statistics or equivalent)
  
• Over four years of experience in a similar capacity
  
• Practical knowledge of data in various forms (data warehouses/SQL, unstructured data environments)
  
• Experience in implementing solutions for data extraction and visualisation using platforms such as Power BI, Tableau and Alteryx
  
• Strong understanding of machine-learning techniques, statistical analysis and data modelling
  
• Hands-on experience with programming and statistical languages such as SQL, Python and R
  
• Knowledge of web analytics, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager will be an added advantage
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language
  
• Solution-oriented, with a keen sense of quality, attention to detail, accuracy and meeting tight deadlines
  
• Knowledge/interest in capital markets, funds and asset management will be an advantage
