Executive Compliance and Health and Safety (Asialine, Thorakolayaya)

Being in the business for over 17 years, MAS Active is a prestigious establishment in Sri Lanka focusing on Activewear, Athleisure, Performance wear and Men’s essentials.

Key Accountabilities

• Organize and conduct internal compliance audits for all internal SBUs of MAS Active whilst, supporting them in areas of improvement thereby, facilitating the achievement of required standards prior to external audit.
• Recommend improvements to current procedures / follow new instructions introduced by the cluster management in order to improve standards of social compliance, H&S in the plant
• Implement, monitor and sustain international standards/practices in health and industrial safety in all areas, whilst conducting training and awareness sessions on health and safety and maintaining a safe working environment for all employees
• Visit the Off-Site plants on a periodic basis, assist the plant compliance team in implementing required Compliance standards as per legal and customer requirements whilst, conducting internal compliance audits and rate them prior to the external audits in order to facilitate achievement of required standards
• Organize monthly Compliance Forum and facilitate discussions among plant representatives with regard to compliance and sustainability thereby, arrive at action points to be implemented across relevant SBU’s, whilst, preparing meeting minutes to be circulated among the group

Knowledge and Skills

• Degree /Diploma in relevant field 
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience 
• Good Communication skills
