Job Description

The Global Services Portfolio Manager drives the services growth of IFS by combining domain expertise, commercial acumen, and leadership, in the definition of services to drive customer value.

A Global Portfolio Manager has a clearly defined section of our Services Portfolio under their direction and is tasked with the definition, packaging, and effective release of the Services in our Portfolio. A Global Portfolio Manager proactively drives the transition to a primarily recurring revenue model in Services and is expected to demonstrate hands-on leadership in sales cases as well as being a key interface to the global delivery organization.

This vacancy is for ownership of the new “Enablement & Training” (E&T) portfolio area across IFS core products. The Portfolio Manager is a key partner for sales, delivery, and product leadership.

This is an opportunity to get exposure to senior leadership and stakeholders and have an impact on driving the growth of the assigned portfolio offering.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

The Global Services Portfolio Manager for E&T will take full responsibility for their section of the Portfolio, which requires:

  • Collaborate and work closely with the E&T leadership team to ensure alignment of strategy, plans and activities.
  • Innovate, collaborate and introduce world-class offerings that deliver distinct, measurable value to our valued customers.
  • Support and guide specific services sales cases, utilizing hands-on solutions and strategic commercial acumen.
  • Actively create and maintain a strategy and plan, complete with transparent timelines and well-defined deliverables in line with the Portfolio's E&T plans.
  • Drive the definition and execution of specific E&T Portfolio areas.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation of all Portfolio elements in accordance with global standards.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with other Portfolio Managers and the broader GCS organization to forge a unified offering suite that aligns with our execution of the lifecycle strategy.
  • Generate clear and concise content to empower sales, delivery, and marketing efforts.
  • Solicit and Incorporate feedback from key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Forge a close partnership with Product Directors (GCS Offering Portfolio) to continually refine and tailor the plan based on shifting market dynamics and business needs.

Qualifications

Global Service Portfolio Managers are deep experts in their assigned fields operating at the Senior level or above within a customer value generating role.

Will be expected to demonstrate a reasonable level of knowledge, and quickly develop skills and behaviours in the following areas:

Knowledge:

For this section, it is understood that you may not have all of this knowledge and experience on day #1 -  providing you have the will, some transferable experience and ability to quickly learn, we’d like to hear from you.

  • Enablement & Training packages in a B2B context
  • Education concepts, e.g. the structure of all 5 enablement pillars
  • Possess commercial acumen and awareness of how pricing and value work
  • Understanding of business applications and relevant services e.g. consulting, customer success
  • Knowledge of Enablement & Training deliverables, operations and systems
  • Knowledge of IFS Core Industries

Coaching and mentoring will be provided.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Direct experience (>5 years) in the applicable Portfolio area, and (>10 work experience)
  • Relevant Customer facing (delivery or support) and commercial experience.

Desirable:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
