About the Role

Roar Global is seeking a Senior Legal Professional to oversee our legal operations. This role involves navigating complex legal landscapes, ensuring compliance excellence, and guiding strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Act as legal counsel in respect of all legal, regulatory, and compliance matters related to the Roar Group of Companies.
• Provide strategic legal advice to various SBUs on various matters relating to business of the group, including digital marketing, digital advertising, data protection, intellectual property, and commercial transactions.
• Draf, negotiate, review, and manage all contracts, local and international with clients, partners, and suppliers.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day contract management and administration.
• Manage intellectual property portfolio.
• Manage all dispute resolution and litigation related matters.
• Offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with laws and regulations, including evaluating different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations.
• Work with internal teams to develop relevant legally mandated policies and processes.
• Work with external consultants and counsel, locally and internationally, in respect of various legal matters.

Requirements

• 6+ years of post qualification experience.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Extensive knowledge of local and international legal frameworks.
• Extensive knowledge of Labour Law.
• Experience with international transactions.
• Good drafting skills.
