MISSION
IT Infrastructure Support Specialist
role encompasses assisting both internal and external customers,
providing support to the infrastructure operations team, and
contributing to the team's initiatives aimed at achieving ongoing
infrastructure enhancements.
You will be responsible for managing
all incident, problem, and change management related to DAP & NET
infrastructure operations on a global scale with other team members
from regions.
KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
- Engage in regular infrastructure troubleshooting activities and resolve related incidents;
- Provide 1st level support for reported IT Infrastructure incidents, document problems and solutions and assist as required;
- Execute planned maintenance tasks as per the maintenance calendar;
- Manage, maintain, and update configuration documentation and support ticketing system to track all infrastructure incidents to resolution and to identify support trends;
- Fulfill service level agreements, with respect to availability, performance, capacity, and security;
- Escalation management on complex or unsolved incidents to, third party specialists and vendors;
- Identify IT Infrastructure risks as the work and list them in a centralized repository;
- Support to maintain infrastructure asset inventory with IT Infrastructure Operations manager;
- Monitor planned maintenance tasks as per the maintenance calendar;
- Adhere to service level agreements, with respect to availability, performance, capacity, and security;
- Be available for other members of 24/7 support team in emergency situations;
- Continuous learning and exploring the IT Infrastructure with latest trends.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
- CCNA/ MCP Qualification or HND in a related field;
- 2 years of IT industry experience with at least 1-year hands on experience in an IT infrastructure role;
- Working knowledge in Windows Server OS platforms (Linux experience would be considered as a definite advantage);
- Working knowledge in VMware;
- Hands on experience in monitoring enterprise network systems (Ex: SolarWinds, PRTG, OPManager or similar tool) would be an added advantage;
- Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS, O365 would be an advantage;
- Exposure to automation technologies would be an added advantage;
- Experience in working in an incident management system would be considered as an asset;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- This is a 24 X 7 operation and selected candidate will have to work on a 8-hour rotational roster.
