Job Description  

As a Medical Assistant , you'll play a pivotal role in healthcare administration. Efficiently manage and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring optimal scheduling for healthcare providers. Thoroughly verify patient insurance details for accurate billing and claims processing.

Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: US Shift
Work Setup: Flexible (Hybrid, Work from Home, Onsite)

What do you need to succeed? 

Qualifications Needed:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
  • Extensive experience in healthcare administration roles
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Additional Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare administrative roles
  • Exceptional written English skills
  • Proficient in handling medical administrative responsibilities

Nice to Have:

  • Background in Psychiatry or Therapy (minimum 5 years)
  • Familiarity with HIPAA protocol
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Electronic Health Records (EHR) for billing, and HR processes

  • Credentialing Forms: Complete and submit credentialing forms required for providers to be in-network with various insurance companies.
  • Claims Submission: Utilize electronic health records to submit claims to insurance companies, adhering to industry standards and guidelines.
  • Patient Administration Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to patients, addressing inquiries and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers.
  • Communications: Maintain effective communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring a seamless flow of information.
  • Co-pay Collection: Collect co-payments from patients, accurately recording transactions and maintaining financial records.
