Night Auditor

The Night Auditor is responsible for the overnight audit process and accounting functions such as daily reporting of revenues and accounts payables, transaction audits and verifications, and preparation of final statements for the next day's check-outs.

Responsibilities

• • • • Checking backups of all transactions - Credit card bills & City Ledger/ Food & Beverage Documents/ Other Payments.
      • Ensuring all revenue is posted to the system in an accurate manner
      • Comparing all F&B Outlets/ Banquets bills with the relevant summaries.
      • Tallying additional revenue items with the system such as Telephones, Spa, Laundry, etc.
      • Checking all the Front Office Credit card slips with credit card audit reports.
      • Examining the balance Debtors/Cash & City Ledger Outlet Postings & Payments
      • Tallying all the credit card outlet postings with relevant PM accounts & clearing the account dail
      • Preparing the night audit check list & obtaining authorization from the Night Manager

Experience and Qualification:

• • • • Previous experience in similar capacity with a sound audit background
      • OPERA/ Micros system knowledge would be an added advantage
      • Be able to work flexible hours based on operational needs
      • Should be an excellent team player with good interacting and networking skills especially with other departments
      • Be able to carry out tasks independently with minimum supervision
      • Should consider attention to detail in order to ensure high degree of accuracy at all levels
      • Should possess a great deal of common sense and intelligence.
