As Program Manager you drive the development work in a development team, you’re responsible for realizing the intended value of the investments we make. You’re the voice of the customer within the team, you provide technical thought leadership within your functional area and ultimately you ensure that we get great customer adoption and satisfaction in what we deliver.

In the API, Workflow and Data team at IFS R&D, we deliver frameworks, runtimes and tools that enable standards-based open APIs along with capabilities for tailoring and automating business processes and moving data between systems efficiently and securely. These frameworks and tools are built using Cloud native solutions and modern languages.

As Program Manager you will:

• Work together with Product Managers, Software Architects and Software Engineering Leaders to coordinate and plan work in designing and building world-class products that deliver value to our customers.
• Analyze incoming business requirements and work with the team to create a high-level solution design, then come up with scope and delivery plan across multiple releases to get the best value for the investment.
• Evangelize our Products and showcase how customers would benefit from what we deliver.
• Understand technical aspects of the design and development to guide the team in decision making.
• Be proactive, drive initiatives and take ownership.
• Plan, execute & monitor the progress of development work.
• Manage risks, issues & dependencies.
• Coordinating across RnD groups when required for planned initiative work.
• Manage customer escalations and handle communication.

You are also someone who;      

• Has Excellent communication, presentation, strong decision making and negotiation skills.
• Has Very good coordination and organizational skills.
• Has good knowledge on REST APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
• Familiar with current Cloud technologies (Kubernetes, Azure, Bitbucket CI etc.)
• Can work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple competing priorities.
• B.Sc. in IT/Software Engineering or similar stream.
• Previous experience in managing projects working with Cloud infrastructure and technologies would be an added advantage
