Full Job Description
To lead development and implementation of brand strategy and brand plans for PRS range in Sri Lanka (Panadol, Iodex, Panadol For Children, Panadeine, Voltaren, and similar other analgesics & new brand extensions) and to ensure the delivery of annual top and bottom-line targets.
Brand
• Management of brand portfolio to deliver market P&L incl. brand tracking. Contribute to development of pricing strategies, and help formulate value analysis on the brands, including ownership of delivery of cost saving proposals.
• Execution of Area initiatives & delivery of rigorous local activation plans across consumer, digital, PR, shopper, expert and customer (incl. customer promotions)
• Develop country, customer growth priorities and annual brand planning cycle to drive distribution and sales. Inspire & align organization (incl. trade marketing)
• Global Artwork and claim adaptations. Shopper adaptations. Local activations.
Communication and Media
• Execution of toolkits & contribute country insights to communication campaigns. Create and execute any needed ex-thematic regional plans and promotions in-line with brand identity with area/category alignment.
• Continued refinement of the marketing mix through application of ROI models incl. managing Market Mix modeling and day-to-day business results.
• Implement and manage the A & P budgets driving efficiency and better effectiveness. Monitor all spends.
Innovation
- Local tailoring of innovation (specific customer, channel or region, or sizes) once aligned with Area Team, timeline and stakeholder management.
Channel
• Liaised with CMT and KAM/Sales team to implements Channel plans and key accounts/activation briefs. Distribution deliverables.
Supply/Sales – Strategy
• Lead commercial strategy at a market level and ensure rigorous market activation plans , growth priorities and management of brands within the annual brand planning cycle. Drive continuous improvement in the accuracy of forecasting. BPM Calendar development, APM and sales tracking.
People Management
• Align and prioritize objectives and work together with the team, and other teams, in support of the business. Drive accountability and ownership of results. Give continuous feedback and provide people with stretching opportunities to enable them to achieve their potential. Build capability and talent.
Managed Brand/SKU P&L
• Hold total responsibility to manage the Brand P&L/Brand contribution to the business. Hold responsibility for deliver the annual topline target through effectively managing of A&P and G2N.
Qualifications:
- A degree from a reputed institute/university Marketing
- To make sure that the person holds required minimum knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies in order to fulfil day today tasks and duties of respective job position
- At least 7-8 years of relevant post qualification experience in a similar function of an FMCG MNC.
