At IFS, a Technical Writer will:

• Write and review the advisory reports to end IFS customers/partners related to Technical, Business value solution, Quality and Risk mitigation services.
  • Technical : Provide deep expertise on different technical topics to enable customers/partners.
  • Business value solution : Advisory services to proactively partner with a customer to influence business usage of the Software and the intended outcomes.
  • Quality and Risk mitigation : Is a structured engagement that ensures our customers can make reasoned decisions based on our experience and deep IFS Software expertise. Providing visibility of IFS Software best practice, quality, and standards.
• Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of target audience, this includes writing executive summaries for C-level of customers/partners.
• Work with service delivery experts and gain deep understanding of products and services and translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging reports.
• Develop and maintain a detailed database of reference materials to re-use for creating end customer/partner reports.
• Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, review, organize, and write the end customer/partner reports.
• On teams where you are not the exclusive content creator, contribute your expertise to review content to ensure quality, and monitor deliverables. 
• Contribute your ideas for creating better content/reports/templates for end customer/partner.
• Ensure the compliance of end customer/partner reports.

• A college or university degree in Technical Communication (or a related discipline with relevant writing experience)
• Two or more years of experience as an effective technical writer
• Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter.
• Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences
• Superb written communication skills in English, with a keen eye for detail
• Experience in working with engineers to refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content.
• Flexibility to adjust some working hours to overlap with colleagues in other time zones.
• Collaborative and a team player.
