We, IFS Labs team lookouts for dynamic and open-minded individuals to join us as QA Engineer to work with ESG-related Developments in Power Platform. 

This is a great opportunity to work in the Labs team, helping bring innovation to life. The product area is for Sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) where you will get the opportunity to work on developing products aimed at helping companies achieve their sustainability goals and report on their progress in-line with international standards. The product is in an incubation phase giving the opportunity work on iterative product development consistent with a customer centric approach.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with expertise in testing Power Platforms to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, identify and report bugs, and ensure the overall stability and usability of our Power Platform applications.

Specifically, it will involve:

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans for Power Platform solutions
• Design and execute test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and usability of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI applications
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using appropriate bug tracking tools
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that resolved defects do not reappear in subsequent releases
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects and ensure a seamless user experience
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues, reproduce bugs, and provide detailed bug reports
• Validate data integrity and accuracy in Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and testability
• Stay up-to-date with the latest updates and features of Power Platforms to ensure effective testing
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the overall quality of Power Platform applications

Essential :

• Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology or relevant qualification 

Desirable :

• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks for Power Platforms
• Tenacious, with a passion to get the job done
• Strong experience in software quality assurance, specifically in testing Power Platforms (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Proficient in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices
• Experience with bug tracking tools and knowledge of defect management processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated with a passion for delivering high-quality software
