Staff Accountant

We are seeking a junior to mid-level accountant. This candidate must be FLUENT in English with the ability to work and support 9am-6pm Eastern Time daily working hours. This role is 100% Remote .

Job Description:

• Update historical and present financials to get financial statements in line with company positions
• Execute collections process for outstanding AR, and coordinate with account management resources for collections
• Support the maintenance of a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implement a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk
• Prepare periodic financial reports; ensure that the reported results comply with GAAP
• Prepare and submit Payroll
• Manage expenses in accordance with company policies.
• Assist with month end close support process
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned

2+ years’ work experience in accounting, preferably in FinTech or Financial services industry

• Must have advanced MS Excel skills (ideally also Google Sheets) 
• Proficient in Quickbooks Online
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
