Description What You'll Do
We are seeking motivated sales people who will sell and deliver the latest industry insights into how Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) both in IaaS and PaaS environment for public and private cloud portfolio. You will help your customers, who have business "pains" from their growing data volumes and daring service-level expectations, to achieve quantifiable business outcomes and have an outstanding customer experience. Happy customers will be keen to have more (we call it expansions) and delighted to renew their contracts. As a Senior Sales Technology Manager, you will:
+ Interact with customers business contacts IT & Business and find opportunities using" business language" and active listening 60%-70% of the time (No sales pitching)
+ Deliver high level of activities on weekly basis to build and mature qualified pipeline opportunities. Drive a volume sales plan.
+ Win opportunities on monthly basis and quarterly basis
+ Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline status and forecasted opportunities in our Customer Connect system.
+ Develop proactive relationships and collaborate with extended Tech Cloud teams (Marketing, Business development, Presales, Consultants, Customer success team, etc.)
+ Attend sales roles plays training on weekly basis.
+ Develop and implement a sales plan that provides complete territory and sector specific coverage
+ Develop appropriate sales programs and solutions; maintain up-to-date competitive information and compile regional success stories
+ Lead successful go-to-market campaigns by working closely with internal marketing specialists
+ Contribute and lead in account planning, customer/market analysis, and strategy sessions.
+ Contribute individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.

**Key Responsibilities:**
As the **Cybersecurity Sales Specialist** for the Sri Lanka and Maldives region, you will:
+ Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets.
+ Build trusted advisor relationships with CIOs, CISOs, and IT decision-makers and Lead high-impact **CISO-level engagements** with top government bodies, critical infrastructure entities, banks, and conglomerates.
+ Own the Cisco Security business for Sri Lanka and Maldives, driving pipeline development and achieving annual revenue targets.
+ Act as the **cybersecurity advisor** to Account Managers and partners, supporting large, complex opportunities across cloud security, Zero Trust architecture, SOC transformation, XDR, identity, and micro-segmentation.
+ Map Cisco's security portfolio and services to specific sectoral needs, national compliance frameworks (like Sri Lanka CERT, GDPR, ISO 27001), and threat landscape.
+ Engage deeply with regional partners and system integrators to amplify reach, ensuring technical enablement and sales alignment.
+ Align closely with cross-functional teams including SEs, BUs, Marketing, Channels, and Global Security Sales Organization (GSSO).
+ Work closely with channel partners, distributors, and regional system integrators to expand market coverage.
+ Lead account planning, forecasting, and reporting using CRM tools.
+ Maintain awareness of competitive landscape and industry trends in Sri Lanka and Maldives.

1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
